Overview
SocialMirage is a one-person studio based in Prayagraj, India. This policy covers socialmirage.com (this website), Spill (our iOS app), and imgtokb (imgtokb.com, our browser-based image tool). Each is described separately below since they handle data differently.
This website (socialmirage.com)
This site is static — there are no user accounts, forms, or logins anywhere on socialmirage.com. We may use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to see aggregate traffic like page views and referrers. These do not use tracking cookies, do not collect personally identifiable information, and do not track you across other websites.
We also work with Pinterest to measure traffic from Pinterest and to verify ownership of this domain. If a Pinterest conversion tag is active on a page, it may use cookies or similar technology, consistent with Pinterest's own privacy policy.
Spill (iOS app)
Spill is a canvas editor for designing carousels and stories, downloaded from the Apple App Store. No account or sign-up is required to use it. Images you edit in Spill are processed on your device to create your designs and exports. Spill does not use any third-party SDKs for analytics, crash reporting, or ads.
Any data Apple collects on our behalf as the app's developer (such as aggregate, anonymized usage data via App Store Connect) is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
imgtokb (imgtokb.com)
imgtokb's compress, resize, and convert tools run entirely in your browser. Images you upload are processed locally on your device and are never sent to a server — nothing is uploaded, and we never see or store your files.
imgtokb.com does not currently show any ads. We use Google Search Console to understand search traffic. If ads (e.g. via Google AdSense) are added in the future, this page will be updated — the ad network would use cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance, consistent with Google's advertising policies.
What we don't do
- We don't require accounts, passwords, or logins on any of the above.
- We don't sell your data to anyone.
- We don't store payment information — the App Store handles all app purchases.
Children's privacy
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as our tools or practices change — for example, once analytics or conversion tracking mentioned above is fully switched on. Check back occasionally for the latest version.
